The Quarry commended at Evening Standard Awards

Anderson and development partners L&Q are thrilled to announce that The Quarry, Erith has been highly commended in the ‘Best Affordable Homes’ category at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019., which took place at The Dorchester Hotel, London last night (17 May).

Through 14 different categories, the awards celebrate the very best in new property developments, ranging from starter homes to luxurious houses and apartments.

The Quarry eco-development creates a model for contemporary living, featuring modern properties that are underpinned by a commitment to sustainability. The development of 600 new homes is a perfect choice for first-time buyers looking to get their foot on the property ladder or families wanting to upsize their home.

All properties in the next phase of sales at the Quarry will be available with London Help to Buy, giving prospective homeowners a leg up to purchasing their perfect home.

Andrew Jay, Group Managing Director of Anderson said: “Recognition such as this is marvellous because it recognises Anderson’s and L&Q’s commitment to deliver amazing new homes, which have been carefully created to compliment the regeneration of Erith: an incredibly well connected part of south east London”.

Lucy Chitty, Sales and Customer Services Director for L&Q’s southern region, said, “As the most coveted awards in the country, it is a fantastic achievement for The Quarry to be recognised as a leading development at the New Homes Awards. The Quarry has been thoughtfully designed to provide Londoners with high quality homes at an affordable price tag.”

The next phase of property sales is set to launch in Autumn 2019, and will feature a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes.
