Fond farewell to Ray after 22 years

Long-serving Anderson stalwart Ray Barry has retired after 22 years at the Group.

Group Chairman Mark Anderson paid tribute to Customer Care Manager Ray, 66, saying: “Since day one it’s been a real pleasure to work with him and also to know his lovely wife Jen for this time.”

Anderson staff attended a presentation ceremony to mark Ray’s retirement this month, where Mark Anderson reflected on his time at the Group. “Anderson has a long tradition of keeping its staff and Ray is a prime example,” he said.

“We are a family company and we look on as one of our family retires. I would like to thank Ray for his dedication and exemplary service at Anderson Group. He’ll be missed.”

Ray said: “I’m looking forward to spending more time fishing on the riverbank. It’s also going to be nice spending time at home with the family.

“I’ve had a good run and have met some great people. I wish Anderson all the best and will be sure to keep in touch.”
