Anderson shortlisted again – This time for our Chigwell Grove / NAS Anderson School development

The Anderson Group has been shortlisted for the Development of the Year by Property Week’s RESI Awards 2019 for our Chigwell Grove Development, Chigwell, Essex.

Judges have shortlisted the unique Chigwell Grove development in recognition of the quality of the scheme and the way in which the homes enabled construction of the National Autistic Society’s Anderson School, a first-of-its-kind campus for young people on the autistic spectrum for up to 128 pupils aged 11-25.

Anderson’s Group Managing Director Andrew Jay said: “This is a great honour for us because it recognises the 10 years of work we have put into ensuring this fantastic educational facility could be delivered by us for the NAS through our in-house charity, the Anderson Foundation, which has so far raised £8 million over the years for the UK’s leading autism charity.”

Chigwell Grove is a stunning development of 60 new homes next to the River Roding in West Essex.

The NAS Anderson School opened in September for years 7 to 11 in 2017, with the addition of the on-site workshops in September 2018 for training students to help address the current skills shortages across many diverse sectors and promote careers in the construction industry.
